Before your first lesson goes ahead, your instructor will carry out a licence check through the governement website.  This gives a live snapshot of your licence, any penaly points, bans, medical restrictions declared, and the category of vehicle your licence entitles you to drive.

In order for your instructor to check the licence it is important you have filled out your profile on the TotalDrive app, as your instructor will need your licence number to carry out the check.

If you cannot generate a code, please contact the DVLA via web chat or phone and they should provide you with one.
